COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Our office has always followed strict infection control standards, long before COVID-19. But, in order to make sure our patients & staff are all protected during this pandemic and into the future, we have updated our protocols.
When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different, but together we can all ensure a healthy and safe visit to Bagley Dental.
Below, please read through what to expect before and during your next visit to our office:
Prior to your appointment, we will text (or call) you with some screening questions for you to fill out before your appointment.
You will be asked those same questions again once you enter the clinic.
You are asked to wait either outside or in your car, and to please call or text us when you arrive. We will then let you know when you can enter the clinic.
As required by the Province of Ontario Health Guidelines, we ask that you wear a mask the entire time you are inside the clinic at your appointment (aside from while in active treatment).
You will be asked to sanitize your hands when you enter the clinic. There are more dispensers around the office for you to use as needed.
Once you are seated in the operatory, one of our team members will ask you to remove your mask so your treatment may begin.
Appointments will have additional space between them to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys, as those items are difficult to fully disinfect.
Rest assured, all of these additional protocols are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team.
